KUCHING: Hope Place recently came to the aid of a disabled man, Sabu Sani, who lives in Asajaya with his wife and five children, aged between one to 14 years old.
Due to an accident in 2016 which caused him to be limp and have speech impairment, Sabu is not able to support his family fully and is financially struggling.
Sabu is currently working as a welder in his village and earns roughly RM500 per month.
“The pay is not that much but it’s a start”, he said.
However, he receives RM400 per month from the social welfare department.
Hope place added on to the contribution by providing the family basic food aid once every three months.
