MIRI: Three health clinics in Baram were reportedly inundated yesterday following ongoing rain.
According to Sarawak Disaster Relief Management committee secretary Mejar Ismail Mahedin, the affected clinics are Long Bemang health clinic; Ulu Teru Health Clinic and Long Teru Health Clinic.
“Also flooded are three primary schools, namely Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK)Sungai Baong(Baram), SK Long Panai, and SK Long Bemang,”he said.
However, despite the flood, the clinics are still open as usual.
“The roads leading to these clinics are passable to four-wheel-drive (4WD),” said Ismail.
