MUKAH: Politeknik Mukah (PMU) was among the few areas hit by flash floods following continuous rainfall since Thursday night until yesterday morning.
This was the first time that the polytechnic was inundated by flash floods.
Based on a photo which went viral on social media, the water level at the affected area is believed to be about one foot high.
Other areas which were affected by flash floods included the low-lying areas in town as the concrete drains overflowed into the roads.
However, the water level on the affected roads was not high and still accessible by vehicles.
