KUCHING: A motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle collision along Jalan Datuk Stephen Yong on Tuesday.

State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said Jonam Good, 27, from Kampung Sibuang, Padawan   was heading towards Batu Kitang from Batu Kawah when he lost control of his machine and crashed into   a sedan car and a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle.

“Jonam was thrown off his motorcycle and landed on the opposite lane with serious injuries to the head.

“He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics,” added Alexson.

The biker’s remains were brought to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) mortuary for further action.

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

All the vehicles involved in the crash were brought to the Padawan district police headquarters for Puspakom and Chemistry Department inspections.
