LUNDU: A man narrowly escaped serious injuries after his vehicle crashed into a ditch on Sunday.
According to state Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, the accident occurred around 5.30am at Jalan Lundu-Sematan here.
It was told that the driver was on his way from Kuching to Kampung Pueh, Sematan.
“When he reached Kampung Jampari, he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a ditch.
“The driver only sustained minor injuries and went to the Lundu Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division counter around 2.25pm to file an insurance claim,” Alexson said in a statement.
The case is being investigated under Rule 10 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959 (Rule 10 LN 166/59).
