KUCHING: The Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) is frustrated with the trespassing and theft incident that occurred at the water booster pump station in Sampadi, Lundu District.

According to a statement, Sunday’s criminal act had “affected operations and planning related to the supply of water in the area”.

A police report was made on the same day to facilitate investigation, and the statement yesterday added: “We are committed to giving our fullest cooperation to the police so that those responsible are brought to justice.”

JBALB urged the public to be its eyes and ears, and report any suspicious activity, especially vandalism, to the police or JBALB.
