SERIAN: A landslide occurred due to the continuous heavy rain last Sunday night at Bukit Parun Binong here.
According to the State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre, the incident happened at 7.55pm at Kampung Tubih Behem.
Eight firefighters were deployed to the location and upon arrival, they found that the landslide had covered a part of the road.
They proceeded to cut off the road barriers and fallen trees that were washed up by the flood.
Cleaning and clearing works were then handed over to the Public Works Department (JKR).

As at 4pm yesterday, a Bomba spokesperson said that the road could now be used but that work was still ongoing by JKR.
