SIMANGGANG: Both residents and communals with frequent travels via Jalan Stawang and Jalan Kampung Hulu Lemanak will soon be enjoying a more comfortable driving experience as both roads will be upgraded later this year.
According to Lingga assemblywoman Simoi Peri, a draw to determine the project contractor will be held in the near future by the Sri Aman Resident Office.
“Both roads will be widened and paved using the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) fund of which RM150,000 has been allocated to upgrade Jalan Stawang and RM250,000 for Jalan Kampung Hulu Lemanak (phase one).
“The upgrade works will be overseen by the Sri Aman District Council (MDSA),” she told reproters.
