MUKAH: Some 600 Politeknik Mukah (PMU) students who have been having problems obtaining food during the movement control order (MCO) period since March 18 finally got their supply yesterday.

The students and management of PMU thanked Tellian Constituency Service Centre here, particularly assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo, for his initiative and assistance.

The service centre special officer Felix Pieng on Tuesday said the assistance was given while waiting for funds from the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma).

He added the monetary assistance was channelled through PMU’s cooperative which will in turn pay the food caterers involved.

Felix said it covered breakfast (RM3), lunch (RM5) and dinner (RM5), all takeaways.
