MIRI: A man was injured in an accident involving a motorcycle and a car at Jalan Piasau Utara here last Friday morning.
The accident occurred around 11.30am while the man in his 30’s was heading towards Krokop from Piasau Utara when a Perodua Myvi car travelling in the opposite lane suddenly turned into a road junction.
This caused the man to ram the side of the car after he failed to avoid it.
Following the collision, the man sustained facial and bodily injuries while the car driver escaped unhurt.
He was later taken to Miri Hospital for further treatment.
