MIRI: Federation of Miri Division Chinese Associations president Datuk David Goh lauded the efforts of teachers in carrying out online learning sessions with their students during the partial lockdown following the Covid-19 outbreak.

“Our teachers are using the online method to teach our children during the period to ensure that their learning process does not stop,” he said during his visit to Riam Road Secondary school (RRSS) recently.

Goh also presented 2,500 face masks and a grant of RM5,000 to the school.

He added that the outbreak has pushed teachers to explore new ways apart from the conventional teaching method to interact with their students.

“As a result, teachers suddenly faced the challenge of how to continue their students’ education,” he said.
