MIRI: A youth went through an anxiety-filled experience after the car he was driving crashed into a bus stop at Jalan Pujut 7 here yesterday.
He sustained only minor injuries in the 6.00am incident.
It was understood that the victim was heading to Pujut from Permyjaya when his Suzuki Alto car suddenly went out of control and rammed the bus stop.
Members of the public who witnessed the incident came to the victim’s aid and called for an ambulance.
He was taken to Miri Hospital for a medical check-up.
Traffic policemen were at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
