MIRI: A teenager fell to his death at a shopping complex along Jalan Miri-Pujut last Saturday.
District police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah said the 19-year-old was found unconscious in a pool of blood at a parking space behind the complex around 7.30pm.
An eye witness said that while resting at a staircase, he heard the sound of something falling. He believed that the boy fell from the fourth floor of the building. He had head and body injuries.
The police were called by a security guard after the boy’s body was found at 8.05pm.
“No signs of foul play were found on the deceased’s body and the case has been classified as sudden death.
“The body had been taken to Miri Hospital mortuary for post mortem,” he said in a statement.
