KUCHING: More than 3,000 Muslims in the city performed Aidiladha prayers together at the Jamek Mosque in Petra Jaya here, yesterday.

The prayer was led by Acting state Imam Ustaz Mustafa Kamal, who then read Aidiladha’s special sermon.

Also present were Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah and State Secretary Tan Sri Mohd Morshidi Ghani.

Johari was scheduled to arrive at Kuching Division Mosque at 10am to visit his father’s tomb, the first Head of State Tun Abang Haji Openg Abang Sapiee.
