Chee Kadir donates 14 cows for Aidiladha

KABONG: Kabong Assemblyman, Mohd Chee Kadir donated 14 cows to Muslims in his constituency in conjunction with this year’s Aidiladha.
All the 14 cows have been distributed to villages in the Kabong constituency namely Kpg Alit, Kpg Nyabor, Kpg Gerigat, Kpg Sessang, Kpg Empelam and Kpg Kabong for the villagers to celebrate Aidiladha.
Chee Kadir also took the opportunity to see for himself the slaughtering of the sacrificial cows and distribution of their meat to the needy.
When met by reporters at the scene, Chee Kadir said it was his responsibility to donate cows to add merriment to the Aidiladha celebration for Muslims in the Kabong constituency.
“Hence, as Kabong Assemblyman I hope Muslims in six areas of Kabong constituency will benefit from the sacrificial meat given to them,” Chee Kadri said at the slaughtering and distribution of sacrificial meat at Assabirin Mosque here, yesterday.
Also present were Kabong Disitrct Officer, Kamaluddin Haji Alkap and Chee Kadir’s wife, Maryani Mohd Yassin.
