MIRI: Several Rural Transformation Projects (RTP) within Senadin constituency have been completed.
Those completed projects were the construction of Kampung Lembah Hijau’s wrought-iron archway and the upgrading of its community hall; upgrading drainage system at Jalan Kampung Loprng Tengah 2B and the construction of Recreation park and children playground at Kampung Pengkalan Lutong.
Yesterday Senadin Assemblyman Datuk Lee Kim Shin made a site visit to inspect these projects.
“We’re going to install street lighting around Kampung Lopeng Tengah’s cemetery area, and this project is going to be implemented under my 2020 RTP,” he said.
Lee also reminded all contractors to complete the project and follow the specification and bill quantity (BQ) prepared by agencies like the Public Works Department (JKR), Miri City Council (MCC) and the Drainage and Irrigation department (DID).
“We have to make sure all projects are done in good quality and can sustain for longer period, so that the approved allocation serves the purpose and the projects benefit the people,” he pointed out.
