SIBU: Sibu Hospital is currently looking for kin or family members of a male patient known as Nordin Yaacob.
According to a statement received from the hospital, the 59-year-old patient was found unconscious and sent to the hospital via ambulance on July 28.
The patient has now completed treatment and should have been discharged from the ward; however no family member or heir came to pick him up.
His health condition requires the patient to need an heir or family member to attend to him who is currently in the Medical Ward (Men), No.23, Level 2, Sibu Hospital.
It is also noted that the patient has a wife named Rasyidah Basah as well as a daughter named Sherina Nordin but the hospital could not contact any of them because the patient could not provide accurate information about his family or heirs.
The patient’s last known address was at Jalan Lanang, Sibu or Kampung Semop, Daro.
In this regard, Sibu Hospital calls on kin or any family member to come to the hospital promptly for the purpose of dealing with the patient.
Additionally, the public who have any information and knowledge of the patient’s heirs and family members are also requested to contact the Social Work medical officer, Lulin Nyalu at 084-238 818 or 084-343 333 extensions 7610.
