TWO BROTHERS at Kampung Melayu Tebakang along Jalan Serian-Tebadu enjoy a mud bath on a riverbank near their house after returning from school. Known for its suspension bridge connecting the main road to the village, Kampung Melayu Tebakang is approximately an hour’s drive from Kuching. Situated on the far bank of Sungai Batang Kayan opposite Tebekang Bazaar, it is a wonderful place to escape the hassle and bustle of city life as visitors can play in the river by kayaking and rafting amid the lush green environment.
