MIRI: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Women chief Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah had a meeting with branch committees on Tuesday (Aug 25).
It involved nine branches, including Bekenu, Lambir, Piasau, Pujut, Senadin, Marudi, Telang Usan and Mulu, in the Miri Zone.
The meeting was to ensure PBB women were ready to face the 12th Sarawak Election as well as to carry out the programmes entrusted to each task force.
Of the five, one will be in charge of membership and new voter registration, while the others will be in charge of ‘Touching Hearts Engaging Minds’ outreach programme, roadshows, digital platform as well as youth engagement.
The sessions will continue in Sri Aman, Sibu, Serian, Bau (four branches), Kanowit (four branches) and Bintulu (three branches).
During the movement control order period, the PBB Women Supreme Council also held online meetings via Zoom with the committees of each branch in the Northern Zone (July 12), the Central Zone (July 18) and the Southern Zone (July 25) to discuss several issues.
