BAU: Sarawak must not be allowed to have an unstable and chaotic government that disregards its people, said Serembu assemblyman Miro Simuh.
He said the volatile political situation in Malaya and Sabah was because the leaders were always vying for positions and power, and ultimately forgot the needs of the people.
“When there is constant politicking, there is no time to take care of the people.
“What they are thinking of is whether they can remain YB (elected representatives), otherwise they will jump ship,” he said at the opening of Pasar Tamu Paku, here.
Miro said that only the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) state government was stable despite various attempts by the opposition to discredit it.
“We have the best government in Sarawak which is GPS, there is no other way, we have seen 22 months under the PH (Pakatan Harapan) government, all sorts of things happened,” he explained.
Miro called on the people to continue support GPS to ensure uninterrupted development and progress of the state.
