KUCHING: The Sarawak government plans to make Siburan a full district pending a study on the proposal by the State Secretary’s office.
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg revealed this during a press conference in Serian last Wednesday.
Siburan is a small town in Serian Division. It is located along the Kuching-Serian Highway.
Naturally, the people of Siburan are happy with the state government’s plan.
They look forward to improved facilities, better economic status and higher standard of living.
