KUCHING: Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud today (Oct 5) received a courtesy call from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) vice chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi at his residence in Demak Jaya here.
The visit was to inform Taib about Kadim’s retirement as Unimas vice chancellor on Oct 23.
Kadim is a Sarawakian from Kampung Bako. He has held the position for more than seven years and was appointed as vice chancellor of Unimas on April 16, 2013.
During the courtesy call, Kadim also informed Taib about the latest development and achievements of Unimas.
