KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg today (Oct 6) received a courtesy call from a Sarawak Scout Council delegation at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here.
During the visit, Abang Johari, who is also Sarawak Scout leader, was briefed on the movement’s proposed activities.
This included a proposed South-east Asia-level Scouts Jamboree.
The delegation was led by its president Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom. Also present were Sarawak Scout Council chairman Peter Chai, Sarawak Scout chief commissioner Captain Zainuddin Tan Sri Hamdan and his deputy Datuk Idris Buang, assistant chief commissioner Datuk Jumaat Ibrahim, honorary secretary Zasran Abdullah and council member Arthur Lee.
