KUCHING: The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) delivered food suppy to residents in Kampung Haji Baki.
The department’s operations centre informed that the humanitarian assistance disaster relief (HADR) was carried out from 10.30am to 4pm.
Operations commanding officer Mohammad Fazly Ibrahim led a team of 12 to deliver the supplies by using two vans and a four-wheel drive vehicle.
Areas that could not be accessed by heavy vehicles had their supplies hand-delivered to them.
After the service was finished, all personnel underwent disinfection before returning back to the station.
Kampung Haji Baki was recently placed under the enhanced movement control order (Emco) after several Covid-19 positive cases and a new cluster was declared in the area.
More than 530 households involving over 4,200 residents were ordered to stay at home from Oct 28 to Nov 11.
