BINTULU: Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Talib Zulpilip has called on the community in Jepak constituency, especially Kuala Tatau, to continue their efforts to enhance the mutual agreement and consensus development between constituents to maintain peace and harmony.

He stressed that this is because the mutual agreement and cooperation of all communities is the key to a harmonious life enjoyed by the people in this state.

Speaking at the Sepakat @ Komuniti 2020 programme ‘Together Stop the Covid-19 Outbreak’ at Kampung Haji Ismail in Kuala Tatau, he said the existence of these elements will lead to development and progress.

At the same time, the Jepak assemblyman also reminded the locals not to be influenced by the political scene in Malaya.

Instead, they were asked to continue to cooperate with the leadership of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government for the continuous socio-economic progress of the people.

He is optimistic that if the community practices the principle of unity as practiced by the GPS government leadership, peace and harmony among the community will continue to be maintained.
