“Hence it is hoped that RISDA entrepreneurs in Sarawak can expand their sales and increase profits through modern communication,” he said. Ahmad Lai said this while visiting the home of Ramlee Jinan, a RISDA entrepreneur in Kuala Sibuti, near here, yesterday.

Accompanying him was Mensan Belayong, Miri Division RISDA Officer and his staff. Ahmad Lai pointed that Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg had encouraged local industries and businesses to go digital and take their own initiatives to promote their products online.

“To be a progressive and sucessful entrepreneur, one must be able to equip and update himself with the latest marketing technology and strategies. “Cost effective and quality products will go a long way to help the entrepreneur to stay competitive both locally and overseas,” he stressed.
