BALINGIAN: A total of RM39,000 in grants were presented to some 13 individuals here today.
The grant was contributed by Balingian’s assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi. The recipients of the financial assistance were presented with the grant and personal gesture from Yakub.
When presenting the grants, Yakub urged the recipients to make good use of the grant and to take full advantage of the opportunity given to them.
In regards to the upcoming Christmas celebration, Yakub prompted the public to adhere to the usual standard operating procedures at all times during the festivities.
He stressed on the shared responsibility of each civilian to follow strictly on the guidelines that have been set by the government.
Not only is it to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, but most importantly it is to protect the community, our families and friends, said Yakub.
