SIBU: A foreign worker was found dead in a house at Lorong 20B, Sibu Jaya here on Sunday (Jan 3).
Sibu district police chief ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the victim has been identified as Sandi, 26, from Desa Sepaso Selatan, Kecamatan Bengalon, Indonesia.
The victim was found around 5.30pm by his colleague, who later reported the matter to the police.
“The complainant found the victim on his bed with a bloody mouth and tried to wake him up but there was no response.
“A team of police personnel along with paramedics were despatched to the scene and confirmed that the victim died at the scene,” he said.
Medical examinations revealed that there was no foul play involved.
Stanley added that the body was taken to Sibu Hospital for post-mortem. The case has been classified as sudden death.
