KUALA LUMPUR: After struggling from the fallout in all spheres in 2020 due the Covid-19 pandemic, Malaysians remain optimistic that 2021 will be a better year.
According to the findings by global market research company Ipsos, 82 per cent of Malaysians believe that 2021 will be a better year than 2020.
The findings also indicate that Malaysians predict a long road to economic recovery and normal life in the post-pandemic period.
“2020 was overwhelmingly bad for individuals and families, irrespective of the country they are from. However, the global public is highly optimistic that 2021 will be a much better year, especially if they are from China, India or Malaysia,” Ipsos said in statement, here, today.
The Ipsos Global Advisor Study on 2021 Predictions also show that 75 per cent of Malaysians remain optimistic about the wide availability of the Covid-19 vaccine in the country. – Bernama
