LAWAS: The missing 64-year-old hunter who was reported missing in Jalan Pa’adang, Ulu Trusan on Thursday was found safe on Friday.
The man, identified as Robert Tamang Labo, was said to have gone on a hunting trip alone by foot on Wednesday and did not return home.
Lawas fire station despatched their men to the scene to launch the search operation after receiving an emergency call on the incident.
Rescuers revealed that the man was found in a weak but stable condition around 3.40pm.
They brought the man to the control post where he was given medical treatment by the Syarikat Samling Timber (SST) medical team.
The search operation involving the police, auxiliary police and local villagers, was called off at 4pm.
