BINTULU: Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing has donated face masks to food delivery riders in appreciation of their hard work.
The face masks were distributed by Tiong’s special officer, Steven Kong Kai Seng.
Tiong said the food delivery riders were also considered as frontliners during the conditional movement control order (CMCO) period.
“They are willing to take risks to provide the best service to the people come rain or shine.
“They are also exposed to the risk of infection while delivering food to the people,” he said in a Facebook post on Monday (Feb 8).
He also urged the food delivery riders to take good of their health while on duty.
“Do practise the recommended preventive measures, practise physical distancing and wear face masks according to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set,” he said.
