LUNDU: The General Operations Force (GOF) detained two men for alleged involvement in drug-related activities.
A GOF spokesman said a patrol team stopped a motorcyclist and his pillion rider in Kampung Raso, here at 2.40am, today (Feb 12).
The team found a bag on them containing a transparent plastic packet with 0.18 grammes of crystallised substances believed to be drugs and two syringes believed to be used for substance abuse.
Results of the initial urine tests found the suspects positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine.
The two men were taken to the Lundu police station and will be referred to the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department under Section 12 (2) and Section 15 (1) (a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
