KUCHING: A full-time housewife makes the most of her free time by selling flower bouquets in conjunction with Valentine’s Day which was held last Sunday.

Caroline Rosna, who is from Kampung Skibang, Bau and now lives in Miri with her husband, said she did not expect that the flower arrangements she did for fun for a friend would become her source of income.

“I started this business last Thursday after receiving positive response from a friend for a flower arrangement I made.

“With a capital of RM50, I achieved a profit of RM300 within three days of operating,” said the 26-year-old recently.

Further elaborating, Caroline said the flower bouquets, starting from RM25, are arranged according to her customers’ requests.

Apart from offering flower arrangements, she also provides a package consisting a flower bouquet and cake for RM40, as well as a RM5 charge for delivery services.

“For me, arranging and selling these flowers has not only helped to increase my side income, but it also brings me a great deal of satisfaction especially when customers are happy with my work.
