KUCHING: Voters in the Pakan district have been urged to give their undivided support to the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) candidate representing Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) in the coming state election (PRN).
PBB Pakan deputy chairman, Gasan Empera said voters in the constituency should give their support to GPS candidates to ensure that continuous development could be carried out there.
“The support of voters here is very important to ensure that development in this area can be continued for the benefit of the future generations,” he said during a brief ceremony to hand over new PBB membership application forms at the PBB head office here earlier this week.
At the ceremony, 290 new membership application forms were handed over to PBB executive secretary, Datuk Awang Bujang Awang Antek.
Also present were PBB Pakan secretary, Alom Tudan, Penghulu Dandan Bujangand Tuai Rumah Sedau Empali.
Gasan said PBB Pakan currently had 7,500 members which included 6,560 new members.
