KUCHING: Pakan district turned green on Sunday (Feb 28) after no local infection cases were reported in the last 14 days.
In a statement, Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) also announced that Julau and Subis had changed their status to orange after reporting 40 and 25 local infection cases respectively in the last fortnight.
“The districts of Kanowit. Betong, Meradong, Kuching, Samarahan, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri and Sibu remain red with a total of 2,580 local infection cases reported in the nine districts in the past 14 days,” it said.
SDMC also said that Selangau, Bau, Bukit Mabong, Dalat and Sri Aman remained orange with a total of 157 local infection cases recorded in the last 14 days.
“Pusa, Song, Asajaya, Beluru, Sarikei, Lundu, Saratok, Sebauh, Tatau, Serian and Belaga also remain yellow with a total of 86 local infection cases reported in the last 14 days,” it added.
SDMC said 13 other districts remained green. There are 27 active clusters in the state.
