MUKAH: Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo was among the first group of people vaccinated with the first dose of Pfizer-BioNtech Covid-19 vaccine on Monday.
“I usually sleep early. Tonight (Monday night) I could not sleep. Maybe (it’s) the effect of the vaccine,” he said, sharing his experience in a WhatsApp post, on Monday.
The first phase of the vaccination programme for frontliners from the Health Ministry of Malaysia (MoH) and others was conducted on Feb 26 at Mukah Division Health Clinic.
Mukah Division Health officer Dr Huzaimah Husin, who was the first person to be vaccinated, said the first phase ran from Feb 26 to March 3.
She added that for the first phase, a total of 1,368 frontliners from MoH and others would be inoculated.
