Mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang said operators must obtain written approval from Divisional Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) at Miri Resident’s Office before starting to operate.

The written approval should be displayed at the entrance or counter of the premises as to facilitate monitoring by authorities including MCC.

He also said operators and workers must undergo rt-PCR test. The test result should be obtained not  more than three days before operating.

“There must be compulsory health and temperature screening at the entry point of premises for all who enter including the staff, workers, their contractors or suppliers related to their operations and customers,” he said.
