MIRI: Sarawak Energy Sdn Bhd (SEB) service counters in Bekenu and Permyjaya have resumed operations after thorough cleaning and sanitisation works.
SEB on Monday (Apr 12) stated that the Bekenu and Permyjaya counters reopened to customers on Apr 9 and Apr 12 respectively.
SEB general manager of Retail Ng Shou Fui pointed out that the service counters would continue to comply with all directives issued by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).
She also said the health and safety of customer and staff as well as their families remained SEB’s top priority.
“All of SEB’s customer service counters are sanitised on a regular basis. If any cases have been detected at the work premises, the affected areas are closed for deep sanitisation and fumigation and close contacts must go for testing as well as isolation.
“The health and safety of our customers, staff and their families are top priority. We will continue to comply with all directives issued by SDMC as well as our own in-house standard operating procedures (SOPs) to help reduce the risk of transmission,” Ng added.
She reminded that customers who choose to go to SEB customer centres for physical transactions must comply strictly with SOPs.
“To limit face-to-face interactions in order to reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission, SEB introduced our e-Bill services earlier this year.
“By encouraging online transactions, we hope more and more of our customers can perform their transactions from the comfort and safety of their homes or offices,” she added,
The registration for e-Bill services can be done either by visiting SEB operating customer service centres, self-registration via SEB cares application, by calling the 24/7 Customer Care Centre at 1-300-88-3111, or via the website at www.sarawakenergy.com.
