KUCHING: The organising committee of the 61st state-level Majlis Tilawah & Menghafaz Al-Quran is taking note on the latest development of the transmission of the Covid-19 outbreak.
It will monitor the situation based on the report issued by the Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), said the statement by the office of Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Islamic Affairs) on Thursday.
“Therefore, after taking into consideration the advice from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and SDMC, the organising committee has decided to postpone the event that was supposed to be held from tomorrow to Monday.
A new date will be announced later.
“We regret any inconvenience caused,” the statement concluded.
