BINTULU: Five villagers from Rumah Ado Bilong in Kakus Tatau whose houses were affected by storm on May 4 received assistance from the State government to help ease their burden on Friday.

The five ‘bilik‘ in the longhouse were damaged following strong wind and heavy rain last Tuesday, fortunately there were no reports of injuries or casualties.

The relief aid was presented by Assistant Minister of Native Laws and Customs Datuk John Sikie Tayai who earlier visited the damaged homes.

Also present during the handing over ceremony was Tatau acting district officer, Calvin Ligong.
