BALINGIAN: Kampung Kuala Balingian here will soon have its own futsal court as the site for the proposed project is being prepared.
Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi said the court would benefit the local youth, the village development and security committee (JKKK) and other committees.
He visited the site of the project recently.
Abdul Yakub was accompanied by Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Balingian branch executive committee member (exco) Azizi Anyut, Saberkas Balingian branch vice chairman II and Balingian Sports and Recreation Club chairman Haffizul Abdul Halim and the club’s exco member Abdul Zaid Zahui
The project under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) is being implemented by the Public Works Department Mukah division.
