MIRI: Transport Minister Datuk Lee Kim Shin has thanked a local private company for purchasing and donating water dispensers to Miri Hospital.

The company which wished to remain anonymous donated 13 sets of table top water dispenser; two sets of floor standing dispenser; three sets of reserve osmosis (RO) water system and 15 sets of five-gallon RO bottle to Miri Hospital as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative on Saturday (May 15).

Last month, this company had also donated five units of Philips respirator to Miri Hospital for use by patients in need of oxygen therapy.

Lee, who is the minister in charge of Miri Divisional Disaster Management Committee (MDDMC), hoped that more generous donors would come forward to contribute medical equipment, PPEs, etc to Miri Hospital in view of the spike in the number of Covid-19 positive cases in Miri recently.
