KUCHING: The Blood Bank of Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) is facing a shortage of blood groups A and B due to high demand of both blood types in emergency cases.
As such the hospital is appealing to all blood donors to come forward and bleed for a good cause to ensure continuous and sufficient blood stock for needy patients daily.
The SGH’s blood bank mobile unit will carry out the blood donation drive this weekend on May 22 and 23.
On May 22, it will be held at SGH’s Day Care Centre from 8.30 am to 1 pm as well as at Mydin Petra Jaya from 10 am to 3 pm.
For the May 23 session, it will also be held at the same premises from 9 am to 2.30 pm
