MUKAH: A total of 4,973 food baskets under Sarawakku Sayang special Assistance (BKSS) 6.0 package were distributed to constituents in Tellian affected by the movement control order (MCO).
Tellian constituency Service Centre special officer Felix Pieng said of the total, 4,352 food baskets were prepared for areas in Mukah and 621 packs for Dalat.
He added 439 packs had been distributed to 19 longhouses in Mukah district, and 303 packs to 14 longhouses and government quarters in Dalat district as of Monday.
“Today another 475 food baskets are being distributed to 20 longhouses in Bukit Engkerbai and Lubok Bemban near here,” he said yesterday.
He added the distribution of food aid would continue today and tomorrow involving areas here.
Felix, who is also Dalat and Mukah District Council (MDDM) councillor, said this would be followed by areas in Nanga Baoh, Dalat.
