BETONG: A total of 49 students of Politeknik Metro Betong Sarawak (PMBS), who are on campus, received food aid under the Sarawakku Sayang Special Assistance (BKSS) 6.0 today (June 17).
PMBS director Suhaili Aleh expressed his gratitude towards the Layar service centre for providing the assistance to the students.
“This contribution can help ease the financial burden of students during this movement control order period.
“Hopefully, all of them can undergo their online teaching and learning in earnest without having to worry about food supply,” he said when met during the food aid distribution here today (June 17).
Meanwhile, PMBS Head of Student Affairs Unit, Winnie Chengai, who was also present during the distribution of food aid, thanked the Sarawak government under the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg who is always concern of the needs of the people, including students in institutions of higher learning.
