The students learning about waste segregation during one of the workshop sessions for the ‘Waste & Our Generation’ talk at UCSI University Kuching Campus in Sejingkat.

KUCHING: Approximately 80 students attended the ‘Waste & Our Generation’ talk held at UCSI University Kuching Campus here yesterday.

Organised by The Champions as part of their Empowerment Series which aimed to inspire youths to better themselves holistically and to encourage personal growth.

For their ‘Waste & Our Generation’ talk, it aimed to look into the local waste management process and highlight the journey of daily waste from the rubbish bin to the landfill as well as the steps taken to minimise environmental impact.

Among the speakers invited were Trienekens representatives who interacted with the students through practical activities to learn about waste segregation.
