BELAGA: Over 4,700 residents from 15 longhouses in the Sungai Asap resettlement area have been vaccinated.

Murum assemblyman Kennedy Chukpai Ugon said he was delighted with the encouraging response from locals.

“Among those vaccinated are folk from the Penan Belangan longhouse, workers from plantations, timber camps and industries in the vicinity.”

The vaccination centre (PPV) is the Sungai Asap multi-purpose hall and is open from 8am until 5pm daily, and can be extended to 7pm if needed.

“I hope that those who have yet to receive their vaccines to make full use of this opportunity and get themselves vaccinated.

“Please make the effort to come to the PPV to receive your jab.”
