KUCHING: A 20-year-old man, who pleaded guilty to all three rape charges against him, was released on a RM10,000 bail with two sureties pending his Aug 5 social report.
Sessions Court judge Jason Juga on Thursday (July 1) ordered Mohamad Radzuan Faadi to be released on bail with a RM5,000 deposit after he pleaded guilty under Section 376 (1) of the Penal Code, which carries a jail term of up to 20 years and whipping upon conviction.
For the first offence, the accused was charged with raping his 13-year-old underage girlfriend between 6pm and 9pm in a container house at an unnamed workshop near Kampung Sudat, Batu Kawa on June 19.
For the second offence, the accused committed the same act at the same place and the same time on June 20.
And for the third charge, the accused was charged with raping the same victim between 6pm and 9pm at the same place on June 21.
Deputy public prosecutor Nurfadzlin Mahmad Zulhasnan prosecuted the case while the accused was unrepresented.
