KUCHING: Individuals affected by the movement control order (MCO) and are in need of food aid can contact Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS) for assistance.
In an infographic shared by TBS, it said that individuals who are in difficulty or have yet to receive food aid can contact their respective branch office in the state during office hours from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
For TBS headquarters, they can be contacted at 082-682863 or through WhatsApp at 082-682861, or contact Samdan at 016-8690344.
Individuals must provide details such as their name and telephone number in order to ease the process of aid distribution.
Furthermore, those who are facing food insecurity can also visit the TBS Ummah District Centre (UDC) situated at Medan Hamidah, Jalan Bako for food assistance.
Meanwhile, TBS had informed that an amount of RM10.7 million has been channelled to assist recipients affected by the MCO since Jan 1 to June 30.
The assistance includes food, water as well as health assistance across the state.
