KUCHING: Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Dennis Leong Soon Kuai is the new Deputy Chief (Investigation/Legislative) of State Crime Investigation Department (CID), replacing ACP Lee Moh Le.

The handing over of duty was witnessed by Chief of State CID, SAC Dato’ Dev Kumar MM Sree, which was held at the Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK), Jalan Badruddin here yesterday.

Lee officially retires today (February 10) after serving the Royal Malaysia Police for 40 years and as the deputy chief (Investigation/Legislative) of State Crime Investigation Department for six years and seven months.

Prior to this appointment, ACP Dennis was the Assistant Director of Operation in Special Task Force at Bukit Aman for six years.

“Thank you to Lee for his services and contributions towards our department as well as to the police agency. And to Dennis, welcome back to Kuching and may he will continue the legacy and contribute more to our department,” said Dev.
